The route
Bangkok’s river is the through-line. The express boat is public transport, costs almost nothing, and gives you the temples and the towers in the same frame.
We eat at a curry stall with three plastic tables, then go up to a rooftop — but not the famous one with the dress code and the photographers. There is a better one, with a worse lift.
