Kaleido started in 2014 with one route in one city, run by two people who kept being asked the same question by friends passing through: what do we actually do here after dark?
Eleven years later it is fourteen cities and thirty-one guides, and the answer has not changed much. Go up for the view, go down for the food, cross the water if there is water to cross, and be on the right train at the end of it.
Where we run
Harbour and river cities, almost exclusively. It is not a rule so much as a preference: a city with water in it gives you a way to see the skyline from outside itself, and public boats are the most underrated night transport in the world.
Licensing
Kaleido holds tour-operator licences in each market it runs in, carries public liability cover on every departure, and works with local ground operators where the law requires a domestic partner.
