Eight people, local guides on a flat rate, and a route that always ends before the last train.
Kaleido runs night itineraries in fourteen harbour cities. Every route follows the same four rules, and we would rather lose a booking than break one.
Eight people, maximum
Nine is the number at which a street-food stall stops being a conversation and starts being a queue. We cap at eight, on every departure, in every city.
Guides live where they guide
Every guide lives in the city they lead — not in the region, in the city. They are paid a flat day rate, never commission, which is the entire reason we can promise you will not be walked into a shop that pays a kickback.
The route ends before the last train
Every itinerary is built backwards from the last realistic departure home, minus twenty minutes for the walk. What you do after that is your business, and your guide will happily point you at it.
We publish what is included
Food, transport within the route, and entry to anything ticketed are in the price. Drinks beyond the first are not. There is no third category.
